Hong Kong, Nov 26: India's star shuttler P.V. Sindhu defeated local girl Cheung Ngan-yi to storm into the final of the Hong Kong Open tournament here on Saturday.

A week back, Sindhu had achieved a milestone by winning the China Open Super Series title. She is on the verge of achieving a double triumph if she wins the Hong Kong Open.
Earlier in the day, another Indian Sameer Verma reached the finals in the men's singles category beating third-seeded Jan O. Jorgensen 21-19, 24-22 in the semifinal.
