New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) Indian shuttlers Anup Sridhar and Saina Nehwal have qualified for the Bejing Olympics to be held in August.
Sridhar, who is ranked a career high 24th in the world, has hit the form of his life.
He had defeated the reigning Olympic champion Taufik Hidayat at the World Championships recently.
The Bangalore lad, who is the current national champion, reached the quarter-finals of the World Championships last year. He also qualified for the semifinals at the German Open and the Asian Continental Championships.
While the players are raring to go, Indian coach Pulela Gopichand voiced confidence that his wards have it in them to create a few waves at Beijing.
''Saina and Anup have been in good nick last year and I believe that they would be there in last four,'' he said.
