Rio de Janeiro, Aug 15: Ace Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth defeated Denmark's Jan O Jorgensen to enter the quarter-finals of the Rio Olympics 2016 here on Monday.
World No.11 Srikanth registered a 21-19, 21-19 triumph in 42 minutes over the world No.5 Jorgensen in the pre-quarterfinal tie.
11th ranked Srikanth will now face China's Lin Dan, who is 6 time All England Champion, 2 time Olympic champion and 5 time world champion.
