The crowd at the iconic stadium erupted in loud cheers, chanting "Sachin! Sachin!" after they got a glimpse of the former right-hand batsman on the big screens at the ground. Tendulkar, in response, waved to the jubilant spectators.

Later, several photos of Tendulkar went viral on social networking sites where he was seen in-and-around the stadium.
