Virat Kohli is set to make India Test captaincy debut when he walks out for the toss against Australia in Brisbane on December 4 (Thursday).

With regular skipper MS Dhoni ruled out of the four-Test series opener due to injury, Kohli will become India's 32nd Test captain in the first match at the Gabba. India's first ever Test captain was CK Nayudu who led the team against England in 1932 at Lord's.
