Harbhajan-Geeta Basra Marriage: 113 types of tobacco served in wedding, complaint filed

New Delhi, Nov 1: Cricketer Harbhajan Singh has landed himself in yet another trouble. It looks like controversies surrounding his wedding with Geeta Basra will not die down soon. Reportedly, some Sikh organisations have lodged complaint against off-spinner.

It has been alleged that 113 types of tobacco were served in star-studded marriage ceremony of the cricketer.

Harbhajan Sing in trouble?

This has come to fore days after some bouncers manhandled photo-journalists outside Harbhajan's house on the wedding day. Sikhism doesn't allow consumption of tobacco and alcohol and Sikh organisations follow the rule religiously.

Earlier, It was reported that bouncers hired by Harbhajan allegedly snatched and smashed cameras from photo journalists who had come to Jalandhar to cover the high-profile marriage ceremony. The bouncers also allegedly manhandled the media persons who later sat on dharna outside the wedding venue.

Citing the situation outside his house, Harbhajan came out and spoke to all journalists personally. Cricketer also apologised to the media persons for the unfortunate incident.Later police arrested all bouncer identified as Babul, Kuldeep, Ravi, and Navjot.

Amidst violence and protest, Harbhajan singh-Geeta basra tied the nuptial knots on Thursday, Oct 29. They married after a nine-long-year of courtship.
