London, Nov 25 (UNI) Former England skipper Nasser Hussain feels that the current English brigade were being distracted off the field by the lure of cash-rich tournaments like Stanford 20-20 series and the IPL.
Hussain further said the lure of money was giving a negative impact on their performances on field.
He said players were being sidetracked by the lure of the Stanford 20-20 series and Indian Premier League.
''In the past few months there has been too much distraction off the field about money. There is a 20-20 World Cup coming up and 2009 is an Ashes year and that is what the focus has to be on,'' the 40-year-old former Essex player was quoted as saying by 'The Sun'.
