Dhoni is again at the helm to guide the team. This will be his 3rd World Cup appearance and in all likelihood, last. India's World Cup journey gets under way at the Adelaide Oval on February 15, Saturday when they face off against arch rivals Pakistan.
India are drawn into Pool B along with 6 other teams. It should be a smooth passage to the knockout stage (quarter-finals) for India. The big test starts then as there are no second chances.
The 33-year-old Dhoni is also the oldest member of the squad and the most experienced in terms of ODI caps and World Cups. He has so far played 250 matches. The youngest in the side is left-arm spinner Axar Patel, 20.
This year's World Cup will be played in Australia and New Zealand from February 14 to March 29.
