ICC World Cup 2015: Holiday declared in Telangana for India vs Australia semi-final match

Hyderabad, March 25: Holiday has been declared in Telangana for the second semi-final match between India and Australia. The match will be played in Sydney on Thursday, March 25.

Media reports claimed that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) on Wednesday announced that schools, colleges and offices will be shut on Thursday.

However, official announcement about the holiday is yet to be made by the state government. KCR's office too has not confirmed the news about holiday on Thursday.

MS Dhoni's team will play against Michael Clarke's team on Thursday. The match will start at 9:00 am [IST]. The winning team will face New Zealand in the finale of ICC World Cup 2015.

India, the defending champions, thrashed Bangladesh by 109 runs to reach the last-four while Australia defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets to enter the semi-finals.
