India-SA Test in Bengaluru: Sale of tickets begins today

Bengaluru, Nov 4: The sale of tickets for the 2nd Test match between India and South Africa has begun today (November 4). The Test will be played at Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium from November 14 to 18 (Saturday to Wednesday).

"The Tickets for all the stands will be available for sale to the general public from Wednesday the 4th November 2015 onwards. Cricket lovers can log on to www.bookmyshow.com to book their tickets online," Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) said in media release on Tuesday evening (November 3).

AB de Villiers will play his 100th Test in Bengaluru

The highest priced ticket is Rs 2,000 and the lowest is Rs 100. "The Cricket lovers and the general public shall have the option of booking either the season tickets or single day tickets, on www.bookmyshow.com. All the stands tickets are reasonably priced and will be available for online booking," KSCA added.

KSCA's spokesperson Vinay Mruthyunjaya said the fans in Bengaluru have the opportunity to witness AB de Villiers playing his 100th Test match on his Indian Premier League (IPL) home ground.

"This will be an incredible opportunity for the Bangalore spectators to watch the Indian and South African cricket stars in action, especially, as AB de Villiers will be playing his 100th Test match, at the home ground of his IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore," he said.

Apart from the online sales KSCA shall also have Box office sales of tickets at Chinnaswamy Stadium. The tickets at the Box Office can be purchased against cash or credit/debit card payments from 7 November from 8 AM onwards.

The bulk tickets can also be purchased from the KSCA Office at M Chinnaswamy Stadium or at BookMyShow Box Office (No. 15, Rest House Crescent Road, Bangalore 560001).

India and South Africa will play 4 Tests. The first game is in Mohali from November 5 (Thursday). The series is named after both countries' icons Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela. They are playing for Freedom Trophy.


Here are the ticket prices for the 2nd India-South Africa Test (November 14-18) in Bengaluru. Match starts at 9.30 AM on all days.
