India wins toss and decides to field in Cuttack ODI

By Staff

Cuttack, Nov 26 (UNI) Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and chose to field first to extract the dew advantage in the fifth One Dayer against England at the Barabati stadium here today.

India effected two changes, bringing in pacer Irfan Pathan and dashing batsman Rohit Sharma in place of Munaf Patel and opener Gautam Gambhir respectively.

England also made as many changes, replacing Ian Bell and Anderson by Alistair Cook and Steve Harmisson respectively.

The visiting side, already reeling after 4-0 series defeat, will no doubt leave no stone unturned to put up a semblance of respectability and salvage some prestige in this match.

Teams: India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Captain), Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh and Ishant Sharma.

Twelfth Man: Virat Kohli.

England: Kevin Peiterson (Captain), Andrew Flintoff, Alistair Cook, Paul Collingwood, Matt Prior, Ravi Bopara, Owasis Shah, Steve Harmisson, Stuart Broad, Samik Patel, Graham Swann. Twelfth Man: Luke Wright.
