New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) The Indian Premier League (IPL) donated a sum of 14,000 pounds, which it fetched from an auction of its next edition's four tickets in London to Magic Bus, a Mumbai-based charity.
''The IPL tickets were extremely popular at the auction receiving some heated bidding. One of Magic Bus' loyal supporters bid 14,000 for the package,'' an IPL release said today.
The tickets were auctioned at a recent Charity Auction.
Magic Bus, founded in 1999, works for Mumbais slum children, street children, children of sex workers, remand centre children, bonded labourers, children on construction sites, runaways and orphans.
