Jagan DA Case: CBI grills BCCI chief Srinivasan again

Hyderabad, Jun 23: N Srinivasan, President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and MD of India Cement, once again has been questioned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) over the disappropriate asset (DA) case of YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

The investigative agency grilled Mr Srinivasan for the second time on Saturday, Jun 23. Earlier, on Jun 18 he was inquired by the CBI in the same case in Hyderabad.

The BCCI chief was summoned over his alleged role in some corruption cases related to YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy.

Srinivasan and his company have been accused of doing some illegal investments in the companies of Kadapa MP Jaganmohan during his father's (YS Rajasekhara Reddy) tenure as the Chief Minister of the state.

Srinivasan was questioned at such a time when Jagan was enjoying his magnificent victory in the recently held by-poll in Andhra Pradesh.

Jagan, who is currently being lodged in Chanchalguda jail till Jun 25, was arrested over some corruption charges and he was in the prison at the time of the by-poll elections. YSR Congress won 15 out of 18 seats and has not even spared the Congress its Nellore Lok Sabha seat.
