Jonty Rhodes heading to Kerala for 'long holiday'

London / Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 11: Former South African cricketer, Jonty Rhodes is heading for God"s Own Country, Kerala, for a long holiday.

Rhodes, the former cricketer who earned a reputation for his quick feet and attractive stroke play, described his plan of Kerala visit at the World Trade Market 2010 in London.

"I have heard a lot about Kerala. Now I am going there for a long holiday," South African cricket sensation said.

In the World Trade Market 2010, Kerala has made a 130-sqm pavilion, which is designed on the backwaters theme and has installations of Chinese fishing nets. The Kerala stall also arranged live Kathakali performances and a 'Capture Your Moment in Kerala" space.

During the the world premiere of Kerala Tourism"s new promotional film, 'Your Moment is Waiting", in London in Aug 2010, Chelsea striker Didier Drogba described Kerala as "everybody"s dream place."
