The lady claiming to be a film producer said that she had met Mishra in his hotel room last month when he was in Bengaluru for a training camp with the Indian team ahead of the South Africa series. The preparatory camp was held at Bengaluru's National Cricket Academy from September 21 to 27.

She alleged that there was a skirmish in the hotel room and he had allegedly hit her with a kettle. The lady said that she would be taking back her complaint once Mishra appears before the police next week.

The 32-year-old Mishra was today playing in the 4th ODI against South Africa at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium. South Africa lead the 5-match series 2-1.
