Sachin worried about Sai Baba, not to celebrate b'day

By Anita
Mumbai, Apr 24: Someone rightfully said, 'If cricket is a religion in India, then Sachin is god.' And it might come as no surprise that the birthday of the god, Sachin Tendulkar will be anything but muted.

Celebrating his 38th birthday on Sunday, the master blaster chose to have a low-key birthday due to Sai Baba's failing health. Sachin considers the Satya Sai Baba his spiritual guru.

There are also strong indications that Sachin might not play Sunday's game against the Deccan Chargers in Hyderabad. Sachin's sentiments on Baba's health was sounded in his tweet, "I m praying for Shri Sathya Sai Baba's quick recovery. Hope everyone will join me in praying for his return to good health"

A birthday celebration was planned but was later cancelled after the Baba's failing health. The master blaster's celebration this year is special because he has finally laid his hands on the World Cup after an illustrious career in the cricketing world. People from across India and the rest of the world have extended their wishes to Sachin.

We at OneIndia also wish Sachin Tendulkar a very happy birthday and hope that he achieves many more milestones in his career and continues to enthrall us with his master shots.
