The 18-year-old's 10-wicket haul helped his side, Kannur, bundle out Malappuram for just 26 in their first innings.

Nazil CT, who just finished his intermediate examinsation, ended up with figures of 9.4-2-12-10. Out of his 10 scalps, 4 were bowled and three were leg-before (LBW).

An ecstatic Nazil told media persons he wants to become a swing bowler. He aspires to become a swing bowler like Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

"I'm an inswing bowler and I don't strive for much pace and it helped that the ball moved around in the morning," he was quoted by TOI as saying.

The youngster comes from a family of cricketing background. His uncle, Fabid Farooq, made his first-class debut for Kerala last season.

England's Jim Laker took 10 wickets in second innings of 4th Ashes Test in 1956. He was the first cricketer to do so.

India's Anil Kumble was the second cricketer to have taken all 10 wickets in an innings against Pakistan in 1999 at Delhi's Feroz Shah Kotla.
