World Cup 2015 will be played from February 14 to March 29. Top stars like Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, MS Dhoni, Misbah-ul-Haq could be making their last World Cup appearance.
Sangakkara and Afridi have already confirmed it would be their final World Cup. "I always wanted to retire from ODIs with self-respect, grace and on a high and I think this is the best time to now focus only on T20 matches," Afridi said in December, 2014. (I cried after winning WC: Dhoni)
"As far as ODI and Test cricket are concerned, it's hard to make a time frame. I am 36 years old now and will be 37 next year during the time of World Cup. By next World Cup, I will be 41 and I don't hope that I am playing then. So 2015 World Cup will be my last. It's a a kind of natural progression," Sangakkara had said in August, 2014.
