Canberra, Mar 3: South African opener Hashim Amla has bettered another record of Virat Kohli. The right-hander achieved this against Ireland in a Pool B match of ICC World Cup 2015 today at Manuka Oval. As as result of Amla's 159, South Africa scored a record 411/4 in 50 overs and won by 201 runs. (Kohli abuses journalist)

The 31-year-old Amla on Tuesday struck his 20th One Day International hundred (159, his highest in ODIs) to become the quickest to the landmark. Amla had surpassed Kohli in getting to 17th ton too, in November, 2014.
The opener needed 108 innings (111 matches) to the milestone, erasing Kohli's mark. The Indian batsman had hit 20 ODI tons in 133 innings. As of today, Kohli has 22 ODI hundreds. (SA set world record)
In January, Amla had broken another Kohli record. Amla was the fastest to 5,000 ODI runs, in 101 innings. Kohli and Vivian Richards had taken 114 innings to reach 5,000, which was the previous record.
