There are no reserve days for first round, second round and semi-finals. If a match is tied, no result or abandoned, teams will share a point each, according to the World T20 Playing Conditions released by the ICC on Monday (February 15).
For all tied matches, Super Over will be used to determine the winner. However, if weather conditions do not permit the match or the Super Over to be completed, points will be shared.
With no reserve days allotted for both semi-finals, in case they are tied, abandoned or no result, the team which finished first in Second Stage will progress to the final.
"There shall be no reserve days for any matches except for the Final," ICC said.
If the final is interrupted on the match day, it will continue from the same point on the reserve day. If there is no possibility of Super Over or match is abandoned due to weather conditions, the finalists will decalred joint winners of the tournament.
World T20 will be held in India from March 8 to April 3. There are 16 teams in the fray. Kolkata's Eden Gardens will host the final. This year sees the 6th edition of the global event.
