World T20: Virat Kohli slams Twitterati who trolled Anushka Sharma for his bad form

Virat took to Twitter and Instagram to condemn such acts by a section of fans who were taking a dig at the actress for leaving him (Virat). Some fans held the actress responsible for their favourite cricketer's bad form.

In a tweet from his personal account the Delhi-lad said, "Shame on people for trolling Anushka Sharma non-stop. Have some compassion. She has always only given me positivity".

In an Instagram message Virat said, "Shame on those people calling themselves educated. Shame on blaming and making fun of her when she has no control over what i do with my sport."

The aggressive India batter, who is in sublime form in the ongoing World T20, urged fans to show compassion and respect towards Anushka, and suggested them to think of how their sister or girlfriend or wife would feel if someone trolled them and very conveniently rubbished them in public.
