New Delhi, Oct 14: It was only two years ago when he joined the senior Indian squad. During that time he often was hesitant, shy in the dressing room.

But today, Wriddhiman Saha is being hailed as one of the best wicketkeepers in the country. Even, some of the former cricketers praise him as the best glovesman in Tests.
The introvert man now is spending holidays in New Delhi with his family members. Speaking on his latest successful performance, both with the bat and behind the stumps, Saha said, “The actual reason for this success is the extensive support and cooperation from captain Virat Kohli and other members in the team during every match. There is such a conducive atmosphere in the dressing room that it's not just me, every cricketer in the squad seems to be charged up and giving his best."
Commenting on his excellent understanding with Ravichandran Ashwin, Saha (smiled) said, “Our relationship is developing with every Test match. Now, before the Test begins we discuss a lot on the opposition batsmen's strengths and weaknesses. That is why, it becomes easy for me to keep Ashwin."
The wicketkeeper also did not forget to reveal that he feels proud when captain Kohli, standing at the slip position beside him, discusses about how to set the fielding position.
And when asked about his experience about keeping against other Indian bowlers, Saha clarified, “Keeping against Ishant Sharma is very difficult. His delivery also moves a lot. Even after pitching and before coming to gloves the ball takes late movement. So, I often have to become very careful and move according to ball's movement."
The wicketkeeper from Bengal has planned to join Bengal team that has already begun its campaign in the ongoing Ranji Trophy after spending holidays. Saha wants to play in Bengal's match on 27th October.
