AC Milan target Italian international Andrea Belotti to add fire power

Bengaluru, August 14: Italian giants AC Milan continue to assess their options for a new centre forward and it appears as though there are only two possible big name options available for the right fee.

Various names have been linked with a move to the San Siro this summer but the list is seemingly going down to a few with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang dropping a huge hint this week that he's waiting for a switch.

However, it is reported by a reliable Italian publication that it's Torino forward Andrea Belotti who remains on the agenda for the Rossoneri, as they prepare to launch a €75million plus M'Baye Niang bid for the Italian international.

It's noted that the 23-year-old remains the favoured option by Vincenzo Montella, while Niang is looking for a reunion with former Milan boss Sinisa Mihajlovic in Turin.

While it may look like a deal is in place, Torino's demands for Belotti continue to hold up any possible exit, and it remains to be seen whether or not this latest reported offer is enough to convince owner Urbano Cairo into selling the Italian frontman.

Some reports also suggest that Milan could be looking for a less renowned striker if they fail to lure Belotti away from Torino and invest on other areas bolstering the squad's depth.

While, some reports also claim that Milan will focus on wrapping up a deal for Nikola Kalinic next week, while that would still leave them with around €30-35million to spend on a second striker to add further competition along with summer signing Andre Silva.

Ajax youngster Kasper Dolberg has also been linked with a move but the talks are still premature. Milan have already acquired a host of top players like Ricardo Rodriugez, Lucas Biglia, Andre Silva, Franck Kessie and many more.

Now, to top it off with the addition of either Belotti or Aubameyang would end an exciting summer transfer spree at the San Siro.
