Barcelona, Aug 24: Spanish giants FC Barcelona have allegedly concurred a multi million transfer deal with French club Paris-Saint-Germain for the Argentinian winger Angel Di Maria.

The Catalan club has been looking for a new attacker after PSG paid out Neymar's £198m release clause and since then they have been targeting players like Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele to fill that void.

However, any deals to secure the two players with the clubs have been dealt a blow as both the clubs refused to sell their prized asset at any cost.

This has allegedly prompted Barcelona to look somewhere else, and according to report, they have now selected the former RealMadrid man as the potential choice.

According to, Catalan daily paper Sport, Barcelona are near conceding to a €50 million deal to bring the Argentine star Angel Di Maria to Spain after five seasons where he made almost 200 total appearances with 36 goals with Barcelona's arch-rivals Real Madrid previously.

The report also says that with Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe picking PSG as his own particular next destination, PSG will only let the Argentine leave for the correct price which is near about the quoted price of €50 million.

Di Maria already has a good relationship with Lionel Messi as both the players playing for a long time with each other in the National team and it is believed that the Barcelona all time top scorer has himself suggested the name to the Barcelona board to acquire his service.

Di Maria had a dreadful start at the Manchester United in the 2014-15 season since his move to Real Madrid however after his transfer to PSG just the next season, the winger again found his feet. He has scored 16 times in the Ligue 1 in the two years while helped in 25 goals, winning one Ligue 1 title with them.
