EPL 2012-13: Game Week 3: Premier League Results Report

London, Sep 2: Andre Villas-Boas is yet to seal his first victory as Spurs boss after suffering another late equaliser, this time against Norwich City. West Brom end Everton's 11-match unbeaten run with a 2-0 victory. Peter Crouch comes to Stoke's rescue against Wigan while Sunderland's Fletcher fires two but Swansea City comeback to draw 2-2.

Premier League Results Report:

Stoke City vs Wigan Athletic 2-2 - DW Stadium

Stoke City played out a 2-2 draw at the DW Stadium in against Wigan Athletic, thanks to Peter Crouch's equaliser late in the second half.

Roberto Martinez' men were ahead just five minutes into the game after Potter defender Robert Huth handled the ball inside the penalty area. Shaun Maloney put the Latics in front. However, Stoke equalised five minutes before the half in similar fashion, Maynor Figueroa handled while Jon Walters scored the penalty.

Wigan forward Franco Di Santo gave the lead early in the second half but Crouch's header in the 76th minute handed Tony Pulis' side their third draw in three League games.

Swansea City vs Sunderland 2-2 - Liberty Stadium

Black Cats £12 million signing Steven Fletcher scored twice as Swans Wayne Routledge and Spaniard Michu found the net to end game in a 2-2 draw at the Liberty Stadium.

The former Wolves striker fired twice before the half but winger Routledge got one back for the home side. Midfielder Michu scored his fourth goal in three games as the Welsh side dominated the second half.

Swansea right-back Neil Taylor had to be stretchered off after suffering a serious ankle injury while defender Chico Flores was sent-off late in the second half. Michael Laudrup's side were denied top-spot in the Barclays Premier League table after a 100% start to the new campaign.

Tottenham vs Norwich City 1-1 - White Hart Lane

Andre Villas-Boas was denied his first win as Spurs boss after conceding a late equaliser against Norwich City.

The Londoners 15 million man Moussa Dembele came on as second half substitute to mark his debut with a goal in the 68th minute. But the Canaries pulled one back in the 85th minute through Robert Snodgrass.

Spurs dominated throughout the game but failed to convert their chances. Dembele raised some hope of clinching their first three points this season, however, their poor run turned to frustration after substitute Tom Huddlestone was sent off in the end.

West Brom vs Everton 2-0 - The Hawthorns

West Brom ended Everton's 11-match unbeaten run after second-half strikes from Shane Long and Gareth McAuley helped the Baggies continue their impressive run in the new campaign.

West Brom have now clinched seven points in three games after their opening day drubbing of Liverpool followed by a 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane.

Everton fell to their first League defeat after Long slotted home in the 65th from Peter Odemwingie's cross. 8 minutes from time, McAuley sealed three vital points as he headed in a cross.

Midfielder James Morrison and Yusuf Mulumbu controlled play in the middle as Everton slumped to their first defeat since March 24 last season.
