Manchester, Nov 11: Still unbeaten in the season, Manchester City eye three more points at home when they host Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

After consecutive draws over the week in the league and Europe, Roberto Mancini hopes his players bounce back to winning ways. Currently third in the table with 22 points, City hope to narrow the gap with rivals Manchester United and Chelsea.

Spurs, on the other hand, were back with a win in Europe after losing back-to-back games in the league and Capital Cup tie. However, a good result at the Etihad will be difficult considering City's dominant home record.

City are likely to miss centre-back Joleon Lescott, Jack Rodwell and James Milner through injuries while defender Micah Richards is sidelined until Christmas.

Spanish playmaker David Silva is expected to make a comeback following his hamstring problems but Mancini wouldn't want to hurry things and could settle for a place on the bench.

For Spurs, Andre Villas-Boas could play Emmanuel Adebayor and Jermain Defoe upfront after the pair combined well against Maribor.

Brad Friedel could replace Hugo Lloris in goal but Spurs do not have fresh injury concerns. However, Moussa Dembele, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Scott Parker remain long-term absentees.

Trivia:

*Manchester City have won the last three games between the two sides.

*Tottenham have won seven of their last 11 visits to Manchester City.

Probable Lineups:

Manchester City (4-4-2): Hart-Zabaleta, Kompany, Nastasic, Clichy-Nasri, Barry, Toure, Silva-Tevez, Aguero

Tottenham (4-4-2): Friedel-Walker, Caulker, Gallas, Vertonghen-Huddlestone, Sandro-Lennon, Bale-Defoe, Adebayor
