EPL 2012 13: Premier League Game week 5 Preview

London, Sep 22: Game week 5 of the Barclays Premier League 2012 13 Kick-off with six fixtures taking place on Saturday. Here is a look at the previews of all the games.

Swansea City vs Everton - Liberty Stadium

Everton visit the Liberty Stadium to play Swansea who will be without several players due to injury on Saturday.

Swans manager Michael Laudrup will miss as many as nine senior players due to injuries, suspension and illness while Pablo Hernandez and Ki Sung-yueng may be handed their first Premier League starts.

Everton will be without striker Nikica Jelavic after the Croatian injured his knee after a collision with the post during the 2-2 draw against Newcastle. Midfielder Darren Gibson will also miss the game.

Trivia:

*Everton were one of only three sides to beat Swansea at home last season.

*The Toffees have never lost in 14 meetings with the Welsh club, winning 10 and drawing four.

Swansea City (4-2-3-1): Vorm-Rangel, Tate, Williams, Davies-De Guzman, Britton-Dyer, Michu, Routledge-Graham.

Everton (4-4-1-1): Howard-Neville, Distin, Jagielka, Baines-Mirallas, Fellaini, Osman, Pienaar-Naismith, Anichebe.

Southampton vs Aston Villa - St Mary's Stadium

The Saints desperately need a win after losing all four opening Premier League games. Although against big guns in the top flight, Southampton hope to get a result agaisnt Aston Villa.

Nigel Adkins may hand Gaston Ramirez and Maya Yoshida their full debuts while the Villans manager Paul Lambert wil lhave to decide whether or not to start with Christian Benteke.

Trivia:

*Southampton have conceded 14 goals so far and failed to win in their last four games.

*Aston Villa are unbeaten in last four visits to Soutahmpton.

West Brom Albion vs Reading FC - The Hawthorns

The Baggies will be hoping to continue their impressive run this season as they take on 19th place Reading side at the Hawthorns.

Striker Peter Odemwingie serves his three-match ban following a straight red card against Fulham. On loan from Chelsea, Romelu Lukaku is likely to start upfront along with Shane Long.

Reading are yet to win this season and doing it away from home against West Brom seems to be tough task considering Steve Clark's men have started the season strongly with a 3-0 win over Liverpool on opening day.

Trivia:

*Reading are placed 19th in the table and are yet to win a game this season.

*West Brom and Reading are meeting for the first time in the Barclays Premier League.

West Ham United vs Sunderland - Upton Park

The Hammers will try to maintain their 100 percent home record when they host Sunderland at Upton Park on Saturday.

However, Martin O'Neill's Black Cats are yet to secure a win this season after three successive draws.

Trivia:

*Sunderland have gone 11 games without a league win.

*West Ham United have won both their opening home games of the new season.

West Ham United (4-3-3): Jaaskelainen-O'Brien, Collins, Reid, Demel-Nolan, Diame, Noble-Taylor, Cole, Vaz Te.

Wigan Athletic vs Fulham - DW Stadium

Wigan have failed to win in their last 11 meetings against Fulham, they will look to put an end to that dreadful run when they host the Cottagers at DW stadium on Saturday.

The Latics boss Roberto Martinez will be sweating on the fitness of defender Antolin Alcaraz who picked up a groin injury on international duty. Fulham welcome back forwards Mladen Petric and Bryan Ruiz.

Trivia:

*Clint Dempsey, Moussa Dembele and Pavel Pogrebnyak, who left Fulham this summer, scored three out of four goals against Wigan last season, both home and away fixtures.
