EPL 2012-13: Premier League results report - Game Week 12

London, Nov 18: Manchester City take top spot, Chelsea and Manchester United suffer defeats, Suarez leads Liverpool to second home win, Reading come back to register first league win, all the results from the Barclays Premier League.

EPL 2012 13 Results

Manchester United lost their top position after going down to a single goal against Norwich City at Carrow Road. Anthony Pilkington scored the only at the hour-mark as Chris Hughton's side continued their impressive run at home.

Manchester City claimed top spot after thrashing Aston Villa 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium with Carlos Tevez scoring a hat-trick while David Silva and Sergio Aguero adding one goal apiece.

West Brom Albion moved to fourth spot after beating Chelsea 2-1 at the Hawthorns. Peter Odemwingie scored the winner for Steve Clarke's side after Eden Hazard cancelled out Shane Long's opener.

Arsenal beat 10-man Tottenham 5-2 in the season's first north London derby. Emmanuel Adebayor turned hero to zero after scoring the opener against his former club and then being sent off for a high-footed challenge on Santi Cazorla.

Luis Suarez scored a brace while Jose Enrique scored his first goal as Liverpool beat Wigan Athletic at Anfield. The Reds secured only their second win at home this season.

Newcastle United fell to a shock 2-1 defeat at St James Park against Swansea City. Michu opened the scoring after a mistake from goalkeeper Tim Krul while Jonathan De Guzman added a second to secure valuable three points.

Reading fought back to register their first league win this season after beating Everton 2-1 at the Madejski Stadium.

Queens Park Rangers are yet to register a win this season after losing 3-1 at home to Southampton. The Saints registered their second win of the season while Mark Hughes' side have just 4 points in 12 games.
