But the balance of power has shifted to other clubs with Tottenham, Newcastle and even Everton ready to fight. Last season, Chelsea found themselves sixth in the table, 25 points behind Manchester giants while Tottenham and Newcastle ended up being fourth and fifth, respectively.

This season, Chelsea are still unbeaten in seven games, similar to reigning champions Manchester City. Despite losing two games, Manchester United sit on second spot with the highest number of goals scored. However, the two Manchester rivals are on 15 points.

Fourth place Everton usually have a slow start to the season, but thanks to their early summer acquisitions, manager David Moyes was able to place a lethal combination together. With four wins in seven and 14 points out of a possible 21, Toffees have to maintain their impressive run for over 30 games.

After two goalless draws at the start, Arsenal ended their winning run with a loss to Chelsea at home. Defensive errors haunted Arsene Wenger's Gunners for a long time, especially against the big sides. But the North London club came back to clinch three points rivals West Ham United. Players like Santi Cazorla, Lukas Podolski, Gervinho and Mikel Arteta have shaped up the Gunners attacking tactics despite losing some of their big names over the years.

Andre Villas-Boas has finally settled at White Hart Lane after being booed off by Tottenham fans earlier this season. The former Chelsea boss had a shaky start to his managerial career with 2 points in first three games but it all changed when they beat Manchester United at Old Trafford. Spurs now unbeaten in their last four games.

Seven Game Week's are done, Chelsea dominate on top while the Manchester clubs are still settling down, Arsenal are finding their feet while West Brom Albion, Everton and Tottenham will be hoping to carry their form throughout the season.
