Team Profile: Tottenham | Norwich City

Spurs £15 million signing Moussa Dembele is set to start against the Canaries while deadline day-signing Clint Dempsey is set to be benched. Centre-back Yonous Kaboul is out for several months, however, Jan Vertonghen and William Gallas will continue at the heart of defence.

Spurs new signing, £13 million goalkeeper from Lyon Hugo Lloris, may not be given a quick start.

Gylfi Sigurdsson may start in midfield for Dutchman Rafael van der Vaart, who moved to Hamburg on Friday, while Jake Livermore could sit out with the arrival of Fulham duo Dempsey and Dembele.

Striker Emmanuel Adebayor is ready to start ahead of Jermain Defoe while defender Steven Caulker could make his first Premier League appearances.

Norwich boss Chris Hugton will be without number of stars like Elliot Ward, Steven Whittaker and Elliot Bennet. Simon Lappin picked up an ankle injury in the midweek Capital One Cup clash against Scunthorpe.

Defender Sebastian Bassong could start against his former side while holding midfielder Alex Tettey could feature from the bench.

The Canaries are yet to open their account in the Premier League after an opening day drubbing from Fulham and a draw against Queens Park Rangers last week.
