Kevin De Bruyne shines as Manchester City beat AFC Bournemouth 4-0

Manchester, Sep 18: Kevin De Bruyne's heroics helps Manchester City rout AFC Bournemouth 4-0 in an English Premier League game week 5 encounter at the Etihad stadium on Saturday (September 17). [EPl 2016-17: Schedule of Game week 5]

De Bruyne who starred last week in the Manchester derby once again starred for Pep Guardiola's side this week. The Cityzens missed the services of striker Sergio Aguero who is serving a ban imposed by the FA and midfielder David Silva who is suffering from an injury.

The Belgian midfielder scored the opening goal of the match from a wonderful free-kick in the 15th minute and was involved in a brilliant architected by Nolito Sterling and himself which was netted in by young striker Kelechi Iheanacho in the 25th minute.

The visiting team were completedly outplayed by a high pressing Manchester City who enjoyed a much better ball possession during the entire game.

Raheem Sterling increased the lead in the second half as once again Kevin De Bruyne created a ball for the English man after combining with Iheanacho. The third goal completely sealed the fate of the match.

The fourth and final goal was scored by Ilkay Gundogan after Kevin De Bruyne provided a brilliant pass to the German. Gundogan picked up his debut goal for the club with comfortable tap in.

Manchester City are yet to lose or draw a game this season under new boss Pep Guardiola in all competitions. They have full 15 points from the first 5 matches are placed at the top of the table.
