Locals in New Delhi rejoice over Spain's victory in the FIFA semis

New Delhi, July 8 (ANI): Fans of the Spanish football team in New Delhi are happy about Spain's beating Germany and entering the finals of the FIFA World Cup.

It is for the first time in the history of FIFA world cup that Spain has made an entry in the finals.

Painted in the colours of the Spanish flag, the fans said it was a much deserving victory.

"Spain was rocking in the end with 80 percent ball possession. Pullover was missing from Germany. I think they did a great job," said Ashish Binji, a football fan.

Though the result of the match was quite shocking for the German supporters, they believe that the performance of Germany was quite commendable in the whole tournament.

"The team performed well over the tournament. Only a few people in Germany guessed that the team would go so far. So it was a big show," said Stephan, a football fan. (ANI)
