Manchester United to place a £100million bid for Paul Pogba

Manchester, July 7: English Premier League giants Manchester United FC are all set to place a bid worth £100 million for Juventus and France midfielder Paul Pogba.

The Red Devils were chasing their former academy graduate since last month and it is being reported now that they are poised to get Pogba this summer.

A major connection of Paul Pogba with Manchester United is his agent Mino Raiola. The super agent has already sold 2 of his most important clients to the club, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Pogba might just be his third gift to Manchester United.

If rumours are to be believed then the 23-year-old Frenchman is all set to become the first £100 million footballer in the history. It will be also be the highest ever transfer fee paid by a club beating Real Madrid's £86 million for Gareth Bale in 2013.

The club is ready to offer £300,000 per week wage five year deal. The wage rate is huge which might just erase off the competition which is being created by Real Madrid and Chelsea.

Manchester United are on a spending spree this summer as they are focused on restructuring the entire squad. They finished fifth in the English Premier League last season which means they are out of Champions League football twice in last 3 seasons.

The biggest inductions so far in the team are Jose Mourinho as club manager and Zlatan Ibrahimovic joining the club. They have also roped in young defender Eric Bailey and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund.

Couple of days back Paris Saint-Germain midfielder and Pogba's compatriot Blaise Matuidi was closely linked with United as the player flew to Manchester in between Euro 2016 to finalise his future. The identity of the club is yet to be disclosed though.

Paul Pogba started his career at Manchester United. After spending an unsuccessful season with senior side, he was released by the club in 2013 as Juventus roped in as a free agent.

Since then Pogba has transformed into a world class player and a talent very rarely available.
