Guwahati, Dec 1: NorthEast United FC defeated Delhi Dynamos in a must-win match at Guwahati last night, November 30 to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the semis.

Seityesen Singh scored the opening goal for 'The Highlanders' in the 60th minute which was double by striker Romaric in the 71st minute. [NEUFC beat DD 2-1 to keep semis hopes alive]

Just when everybody thought that match would end as it is, Delhi's Marcelinho pulled one back to make things interesting at the last moment.

NorthEast thankfully did not concede anymore and took away full 2 points from the game. They are now tied at 19 points with Kerala Blasters.
