Bengaluru, June 28: Italy beat defending champions Spain to knock them out of Euro 2016. A goal in each half from Giorgio Chiellini and Graziano Pelle sealed Italy's fate for the night. Antonio Conte's men go forward in the tournament and will face Joachim Loew's Germany in the quarter finals.

It was a sweet revenge for the Italians over the Spaniards as it was a rematch of last time's finals where Spain had thrashed Italy 4-0 to lift their second successive trophy.

Spain showcased a dismal show last night (June 27) as they were completely outplayed by Antonio Conte's men. The newly appointed Chelsea dominated the tactical battle over Vicente Del Bosque who seemed clueless throughout the game.
