India meets S Korea in Azlan Shah Cup final

Kuala Lumpur, May 16: Indian hockey team is all set to meet South Korea in the finals of Azlan Shah Cup Hockey tournament at Ipoh in Malaysia, May 16.

The Indian sqaud reached the finals after defeating beating Egypt 7-1.

A hattrick from Maharashrian defender Dhananjay Mahadik gave the team a head start in the game.

Mahadik converted the team's 5th, 6th and 7th penality corner to seal India's place in the final.

On the other hand, South Korea defeated Pakistan by 4 goals to 2 to make its entry into the final.
