Indian men's team wins gold at Archery World Cup

Shanghai, Sep 4: India's men archery team has pocketed the gold medal in the Recurve Men Category at the World Archery Championship.

Jayanta Talukdar, Tarundeep Rai and Rahul Banerjee on Saturday, Sep 4 did India proud by clinching gold at the 4th Archery World Cup being held at Shanghai.

India beat Japan team of Ryota Amano, Takaharu Furukawa, Hidekl Kikuchi 224-220 in the finals.

In their way to the finals, the Indian trio defeated Great Britain (218 Vs 216) in pre-quarter final, USA (225 Vs 208) in quarterfinal and China team (222 Vs 217) in semi final.
