Tigers Woods wounded in 'minor' car crash

Miami, Nov 28: After media reports that Tiger Woods was seriously wounded in a car crash created a scare, the office of the World renowned golfer clarified that he was in a 'minor' car accident and has been released from a hospital in good condition after treatment.

"He was admitted, treated and released today (Saturday, Nov 28) in good condition," Woods' office said in a statement

Initial reports of the Friday, Nov 28 accident suggested that Woods was hospitalised in serious condition after his Cadillac Escalade hit a fire hydrant and a tree when he pulled out of the driveway of his Isleworth mansion in Florida near Orlando.

33-year-old Woods who is world's best golfer made a impressive comeback to professional golf in 2009 after he missed most of last season following reconstructive knee surgery.
