Rafael Nadal stops tennis match mid-way to help distraught mother find her daughter

New Delhi, Sep 30: Star tennis player Rafael Nadal is trending over social media for a noble gesture during a doubles match in Spain.

The Spaniard was in the middle of the match in which he was partnering Simon Bolas against Carlos Moya and John McEnroe, when he heard some commotion from the crowd.

The tennis ace learnt that a mother was unable to find her daughter. Instead of continuing with the game, Nadal held his serve back to help the distraught mother find her toddler.

Nadal stopped the match so that spectators could move about the seating bowl and help the lady search her little girl. This resulted in a search for the missing girl, and the toddler was soon reunited with her mother.

The fans over social media also lauded Nadal for his noble gesture.
