Djokovic, Murray, Del Potro reach Wimbledon semis

London, July 4: Top-seeded Novak Djokovic of Serbia beat world No. 7 Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic 7-6(5), 6-4, 6-3, to enter Wimbledon semi-final on Wednesday.

In another quarter-final, Juan Martin Del Potro beat No. 4 David Ferrer 6-2, 6-4, 7-6(5) to book his maiden Wimbledon semi-final berth.

Del Porto will meet Djokovic and feels he has to be in his best against the world No. 1.

Del Potro had beaten the Serbian to win the bronze medal at the London 2012 Olympics here at the All England Club and also won their most recent encounter in Indian Wells Masters in March.

In the other quarterfinals, despite loosing first two sets against unseeded Fernando Verdasco, Andy Murray clawed his way back to win 4-6, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, 7-5.

Janowicz beat his Polish counterpart Lukasz Kubot 7-5, 6-4, 6-4 in another quarter-final match. He will take on Murray in the semis on Thursday.
