Bengaluru, Nov 10: Yesterday, November 9, the United States of America got their 45th president in the name of Donald Trump.
After months of battle against the democrat candidate Hillary Clinton, the republicans finally raced ahead to the White House.
Now, the WWE fans should know that Trump is a WWE Hall of Famer i.e. someone who is treated as a WWE Legend.
Trump has made WWE appearances for many occasions including a Wrestlemania match. As part of the storyline, he once became the owner of Monday Night raw in the year 2009, as well. All of these happened due to his old friendship with WWE owner, Vince McMahon.
This was the same year that Trump made an appearance at Wrestlemania 23 and literally hijacked the extravaganza. This was his way to repay his friend by taking Wrestlemania to the mainstream audience.
A “billionaire vs. billionaire" battle took place that year with McMahon with the condition that whoever loses will have to go bald.
Trump's representative, Bobby Lashley has defeated Umaga who was chosen by Vince. Hence, we saw the wittiest scene of Donald Trump and Stone Cold shaving McMahon's head to complete bald.
He ill-treated a number of WWE Divas during that time and this was the reason that Former WWE Diva, Maria has opened up against Trump for different occasions in recent past.
"In order to be able to look at myself in the mirror on November 9th when we all wake up to a new President-elect, I have to know that I tried to do SOMETHING, to prevent this particular WWE Hall of Famer from attaining the highest office in the land."
However, Trump defied all the odds to beat Clinton and WWE is going to benefit from this. With help from his old friend, Vince can now look up to spread his wrestling promotion to the more mainstream audience, in future.
