Bengaluru, August 17: The association of Jinder Mahal and Arjan Bhullar was noticed in a recent video shared on Youtube. We witnessed the duo working out and training together at the gym.

Jinder is the reigning WWE Champion whereas Arjun is the first-ever Indian MMA fighter who is going to compete in the biggest MMA promotion of the (Mixed Martial Arts) world, UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship).

The next PPV from the promotion is scheduled to take place on September 9. It will be UFC 215 at the Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Arjan is booked in a fight against Luis Henrique in a Heavyweight bout.

The earlier speculations were that being friends, Arjan will be accompanied by none other than the WWE Champion while walking out to the Octagon. However, Jinder did speak to the media to clarify the rumours and stated that he will be attending the event and not escort him to the octagon.

Rectifying the earlier announcement, his quotes are as following,

'Actually, it got reported a little bit wrong. Everybody said that I am going to walk Arjan Bhullar to the ring. I'm just going to be in attendance'.

The modern-day Maharaja is quite fired up to support his fellow countrymen who will create history on the UFC 215 PPV by competing in a global event that will earn him quite fame, for sure. Check out the further statements from the champion,

"I will be there in attendance. I will be there cheering him on. So that's my only involvement. You know, (he is a) good friend of mine. Also first Indian UFC fighter, so I'm very happy for that. I wish nothing but success to him. I will be there only cheering him on."

When it comes to WWE and UFC, these two promotions are good aquaintances. So, we often see these kinds of cross-brand promotional affairs to promote the upcoming events. Meanwhile, Jinder himself will have to defend the WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura this Sunday at the Summerslam PPV.
