New Delhi, Aug 24: It's not a new thing to hear that a certain WWE Superstar is not happy with his position in the company and hence wants to leave.
While other companies have to let out the stars due to financial reasons, mostly, WWE has to maintain a huge roster. Due to this, it's not possible to emphasize on each of the superstar present on the roster.
Recently, the speculations are ongoing suggesting that an active superstar from the roster wants to quit the company not being pleased in his position, right now. Apparently, he has already granted a release from the officials.
The name of the certain performer turned out to be Rusev, as reported by Inquistr.com. For months now, the former United States Champion was not being used properly in the mainstay picture leading him to frustrations. This might have forced him to do so.
The last time, the dominant heel was relevant was last year when he was involved in a feud against Roman Reigns. The latter one captured the US title to close the rivalry which also marked the end of storyline prospective for Rusev.
Going forward, he suffered a shoulder injury that kept him out of this year's Wrestlemania. He was then shifted to Smackdown brand which was his supposed promotion to the roster. The Bulgarian Brute threatened the officials to put him into the championship picture as we have seen on live television.
However, WWE made Jinder Mahal, the new champion and kept him sitting out of the show for months. Even after his return, he was buried after losing two back-to-back matches against John Cena and Randy Orton. The latter one defeated him in just a few seconds which was shocking.
Apparently, the difference of opinions between Rusev and the creative team might have caused this mammoth loss for him. He was not present on this week's Smackdown, as well which might yet another indication of his intention of leaving the company. It will be interesting to see if WWE accepts his demand and let him go in the near future.
