Bengaluru, August 14: Apparently, the cost cutting issues are hitting the biggest pro-wrestling promotion of the world big time. In recent reports from various sources, it is evident that WWE is trying to trim down the excessive costs in every possible way to balance the budget.

The falling TV ratings have been a constant headache for the officials for a long time. This caused a major reduction in the number of overall viewership forcing the production to rethink of what actually is going on live TV and if they are earning a profit in return.

This is the main reason why WWE Network might not air the second season of the Edge and Christian Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness, season two. This is being considered as one of the most popular original tv series that aired on the network following its introduction in 2014.

However, in a recent edition of Edge and Christian Podcast show, the former one went on to say that the second season of the show might not air due to cost cutting by the company.

Check out his comments when asked whether we will see the show returning soon,

"Probably not, because I think our show is too expensive for them and from a timing perspective I think it's going to be hard. We wrote an entire season, started to film it, got some really good stuff in the can, but I think with the Network cutbacks and everything I just don't think it's going to happen."

It is being said that part of this show has already been filmed but was abruptly called off. Apart from this show, a game show hosted by R-Truth was also supposed to air on the Network. But, 'EWresltingNews.com' reported that this show has also been canceled.

Prior to this, the most popular weekly show, Talking Smack following Smackdown Live was withdrawn without any prior notice. Added to all that, WWE is not using their famous pyro-technique technologies anymore to save some money.

This clearly indicates that Vince McMahon and Co. are definitely dealing with some brewing issues that have been addressed, recently. This might not please the hardcore WWE Network fans, but sometimes tough decisions need to be taken for better future. We hope WWE will reinstate these shows once getting over from the financial hiccups.
