Bengaluru, August 22: WWE is the biggest wrestling promotion in the world for a reason. No other company has such a huge fanbase across the globe. Plus, no other promotions have to maintain a huge roster like they do. Three separate rosters have to be maintained for Raw, Smackdown and NXT.

Nowadays, additional WWE tournaments like the United Kingdom tournament, Mae Young Classic, and the Cruiserweight Division also have their own roster. So, it is quite clear that the company can't highlight each and every superstar individually even if someone is a former world champion.

We are talking about Dolph Ziggler who is considered as a veteran player in the company. But, for quite a while he is not been seen on the Smackdown brand which kept the fans speculating about his career. WrestlingINC.com was able to give an answer to that.

According to the source, the creative do not have any proper plan reserved for him at this very moment. This is the reason why he was kept off air from WWE TV. He was last seen in the battle royal that was contested for the US title contender's spot. But, they don't want to book him in some random matches that might put his status in further jeopardy.

In addition, the source also stated that the officials are planning to launch a new gimmick for Ziggler. The show-off version has become old and might not be able to connect with the fans as they know that he will be put into a jobber status after stealing the show.

So, a different persona will be good for him upon his return to the WWE. Meanwhile, he urged the fans not to forget him while not being around. In a reply to a fan's question, Ziggler hinted that he might be coming back after the Summerslam PPV.

The former 2-time world champion has appeared a couple of times during WWE live events since his hiatus from Smackdown Live. In fact, he was back in this week's show for a dark match which was an indication of his return to the main show in near future.
