WWE to broadcast Summerslam in Hindi for the first time

Bengaluru, August 16: Summerslam might have just got bigger for the WWE fans in India with an announcement from the company. The official website of the biggest pro-wrestling promotion of the world let us know through an article posted on their website that the biggest event of the summer will be streamed in Hindi, Live for the very first time.

The PPV is scheduled to take place on August 20th as per the United States calendar. In India, we will get to witness the live streaming on August 21st from 5 AM onwards. The WWE Network will broadcast the exclusive Hindi feed of the event. Shezi Sardar and Obaid Kadwani will call out all the actions from the dual brand PPV on the night. This is the update posted by WWE.com:

"WWE Network will stream SummerSlam live in Hindi for the first time this Monday, August 21, at 5 AM IST, from a sold-out Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Shezi Sardar and Obaid Kadwani will call the action live from ringside."

WWE has also accepted the fact that they intend to spread their wings more on the Indian television and hence this particular move was taken. The two commentators mentioned have now become regular faces in WWE programming these days. This is what the company added,

"As we continue to place an emphasis on international growth, offering a customized version of SummerSlam to our fans in India was a priority," said Michelle Wilson, WWE Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer.

"This is another step in our ongoing strategy to create localized WWE Network content for our fans around the world."

It is also to be noted that from now onwards, all the PPV events in the future will be broadcasted in Hindi on the Network that is dedicated solely to the WWE Universe. The Indian fans just need to subscribe to it in order to have a lifetime experience of wrestling shows and original content.

The users need to visit WWENetwork.com to and sign up for free to get a trial of the network for 30 days. This includes the Summerslam event.
