Bengaluru, Nov 6: Quite rightfully Charlotte Flair, the daughter of the legendary wrestling figure, Ric flair topped the 50 Women wrestlers list for the year 2016 published by Pro-Wrestling Illustrated Magazine (PWI).

Last year, this category belonged to Nikki Bella. Charlotte claimed the position by dethroning the Bella Queen since her arrival in the WWE.

Since the debut, she has been on the main event scene in the Women's division. In fact, every title matches on Raw since Night of Champions 2015 featured Charlotte.

She has not lost in any PPV championship matches in a debut year, which is an all-time record by any individual.

As of WWE's record, she is 14-0 in the PPV record book. She kicked off the winning spree by snatching the Divas championship from Nikki Bella and it's continuing, till date.

No other women's wrestler in the WWE today is comparable with her and hence it's not a surprise that she topped the list.

Her fellow wrestlers Sasha Banks, Asuka & Becky Lynch have taken the respective spots after her.
