WWE News: Finn Balor gives an update of his injury

By Raja

Bengaluru, Sep 17: Finn Balor hit a mammoth roadblock when it seemed that he is going to be the face of the Raw brand after becoming the first-ever WWE Universal champion.

In his match against Seth Rollins, he digested a powerbomb from his opponent which caused him a dislocated shoulder.

However, he was able to pop it right back into its place and finish the match. But, the pain was going on and as per the MRI reports he had to undergo surgery and vacate his WWE Universal title.

In a recent video posted by WWE, the former champion gave an update about his health and return to the WWE.

He mentioned that he is rehabbing five days in a week in the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

He will also visit Birmingham, Alabama in a next few days to have a therapy session. It is in the same city that he had the shoulder surgery.

He added that Smackdown Live will be going to be hosted by the city, next week. He will be present there at backstage to catch up with some of his friends there.

He also mentioned that he will be requiring five months to be back in the wrestling shape. It means he will be ready to return to WWE in the month of February. Just prior to the Wrestlemania season. It is supposed to be a huge relief for WWE, to say the least.

Balor earlier mentioned in the wrestling podcast hosted by Jim Ross that he does not want to be in a hurry while healing the injury.

Sometimes, a torn labrum takes eight to nine month of time to be in the perfect shape. However, he is expected to be back even before the time.

During his short career span in the main roster of the WWE, Finn Balor accomplished a lot. He achieved the newly unveiled coveted prize in the sports entertainment.

In his absence, his former colleague at the NJPW, Kevin Owens has become the WWE Universal Champion with some help from Triple H.
