WWE No Mercy 2016: Preview, prediction and schedule

By Raja

Bengaluru, Oct 9: WWE Smackdown will present us with their second PPV since the brand extension, tonight. It will be the returning No Mercy PPV taking place at the Golden1 Center in Sacramento, California.

Since, it's a WWE Network exclusive pay-per-view, no live streaming will be available around Indian television.

WWE No Mercy 2016: Preview, prediction and schedule

Ten 1 will broadcast it at 6PM on Monday (Oct 10) evening. You can catch the repeat telecast at 9PM on Wedenesday (Oct 12). You can keep an eye here to get the results once the PPV gets over.

The PPV event will be headlined by a triple threat match for the WWE World title. It is needless to say that this match will steal the show.

In addition, triple threat rules mean that it will be a no disqualification which is going to favor AJ Styles to retain his title with some dirty tricks. Both, Cena and Ambrose are expected to go on to a hiatus once the PPV gets over and hence The Phenomenal One will run show, afterwards.

The night will also see the Intercontinental title match between Ziggler and the Miz where the show-off's career will be on the line. As reported earlier, Ziggler's WWE contract might be ending after the No Mercy PPV and hence he will end up losing the match, once again.

Randy Orton will square off against Bray Wyatt in a physical competition. Orton is supposed to pick up the victory since he is the potential challenger for AJ Styles, once he is done with both Cena and Anbrose.

In the women's division, we are having two matches. Nikki Bella will finally get his singles match against Carmella who made her life living hell on Smackdown. Nikki will get his redemption here but will digest another loss because the match would get disqualify.

In the Women's title match, Alexa Bliss will look to prove why she is the right contender for the title. But, Becky Lynch is the face of the Smackdown women's division and is not supposed to drop the title any time soon. So, after a terrific encounter, she will retain his title if the match really happens. She is reportedly injured and we will learn more of that on today's show.

In the tag team division, Slater and Rhyno will retain their title defeating the Usos. But, the Samoan bad boys will continue their assault on the champions once the match gets over. As a kick-off match we might get Baron Corbin vs. Jack Swagger and Corbin is the one to get the likely win.
