Rumour: WWE has bought TNA’s video library, still trying to take over TNA

By Raja

Bengaluru, Oct 7: While the recent reports suggested that the TNA owners are not at all willing to sell the company's ownership to WWE, rumor says that Vince McMahon successfully has his hands full with TNA's video library.

It is a known fact that the chairman of WWE was not interested in buying TNA for providing fund for running their shows. Rather, he was looking to purchase the entire TNA video library to include it to the WWE network's vast video collections.

TNA has an extended video collection of over 10 years since it has begun its run in the last decade. The video collection features some present WWE superstars like AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Eric Young, Bobby Roode, Austin Aries etc. Even it contains some part of the career of the legends like Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Sting, Booker T and more.

A report from wrestlezone.com has already declared that WWE grabbed the exclusive video library of TNA. It means that WWE has already acquired the whole company which till date has been known as the TNA wrestling promotion.

TNA president, Billy Corgan has bought the majority of the shares of TNA but will not be able to clear the debts made earlier.

Vince McMahon will come handy for this purpose. However, Mr. McMahon will not run the company as the TNA franchise after the acquisition and this was the reason that both Corgan and TNA's now owner, Dixie Carter was not happy to sell it to WWE.

Another report from Inquisitr.com suggested that the top superstars from TNA would not resign with the company once their contract is up earlier 2017.

The Hardy Boyz is likely going to be jumping ship to WWE, as reported earlier. In addition, WWE will be able to make a huge profit with the owned video library since they are going to able to channel all the incredible matches from TNA as a WWE Network exclusive.

It is yet to see how the new president of TNA, Billy Corgan handles the current situation. We yet don't know who the third party was that provided fund for this past week's Bound for Glory PPV and further tapings.
